St. Jerome Ministry

St. Vincent De Paul Parish has initiated a book ministry, named in honor of St. Jerome. St. Jerome is credited with translating the Bible into the version that has historically been used by the Catholic Church. Our St. Jerome Ministry consists of a bookcase, near the entrance to the Chapel, where previously read/donated religious books can be placed for others to read and enjoy. Books about the lives of the saints, writings of the saints and religious scholars, prayers, seasonal meditations, and Mass missals for our youngest parishioners are some of the texts that are currently available. In order to assist with the growth of the Ministry, we are in need of a couple of bookcases, with three or four shelves.
