The Pastoral Council of St. Vincent de Paul Parish is a visionary body, providing counsel and advice on all aspects of parish life and engaging in short-term and long-term pastoral planning in collaboration with the Pastor. Pastoral planning begins with and is sustained through a process of discernment and assessment. Through prayer, study and communication, the Pastoral Council seeks to identify and prioritize ways in which our Parish is being called to live out its Mission.
The Pastoral Council functions through its committees or ministries, Worship, Education, Evangelization, Maintenance, Pastoral Care, Social Action and Ecumenical to meet the diverse needs of the Parish community and community at-large. The Pastoral Council also seeks to support the pastoral priorities of the Diocese of Camden indentified through Bishop Galante;
Lifelong Faith Formation, Priestly Vocations, Lay Ministry,
Youth/Young Adults, and
Liturgy and Compassionate Outreach.
Pastoral Council meetings are open to all and attendance and comment are encouraged and appreciated. The meetings are conducted beginning at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of every other month, January, March, May, July, September and November in the Rectory basement.
